Let's face it, periods can be downright uncomfortable.
For the longest time it always felt like my period would come at THE WORST times. It never failed…
Going on vacation? Here she is!
Have a first date? Oh heyyyyy!
Long work event? You bet she's dropping in for the fun!
After a while, I attempted to outsmart her. I would schedule events at certain times of the month, but she figured it out and still made an appearance. So enough was enough.
Just like every woman, I was accustomed to pads and tampons. Pads were not my jam, personally, but on those heavy days I had no choice. I had to double down. Tampon, pad, and a bathroom trip every 1-3 hours. It was miserable. Tampons were exhausting after 24 hours a day, 7 days straight and pads not only irritated my skin, but often had to be shoved in the most uncomfortable places (if you know you know… ladies).
It was just like any other month, crying of discomfort in my bathroom to my boyfriend, and it hit us like a ton of bricks… Let's do something about it!
After a year of researching and designing, Her Bloom was born! A company dedicated to helping women everywhere NEVER feel uncomfortable again! Starting with period care, The Shortie and Keep It Brief, Brief were born with many more styles on the way.
I am beyond honored to introduce Her Bloom into the women's care space and plan to equip women with the thing we need the most…. options! Options to handle womanhood how we see fit. I created Her Bloom for me, you, and all women.
